The family having 5 generations of experience in forced rhubarb production and each year tourists from far and wide flock to their farm at Carlton to see the rhubarb growing in the dark being harvested by candlelight. Visits can be arranged throughout Wakefield’s Rhubarb Festival, and group visits can be arranged from January to March. The company has a high media profile, being one of the country's largest producers of rhubarb.
