With PrimeSiteUK

Dragging the map
Use the mouse to
click and drag so you can navigate
around the map.
You can also use
the navigation tools on the right
hand side to move around the map. By
clicking on the "N", "S", "E", "W",
as well as the diagonal panning
buttons you can move the map in any
direction you choose.
Beneath these
buttons you also have the zoom
control which allows you to zoom out
to see the surrounding area or zoom
in to see street names. This can be
done by clicking on the "+" or "-"
buttons or the scale buttons that
appear between them.
At any point you
can use the re-centre button in the
middle of the navigation buttons in
order to re-position your map back
to the original point requested.
If there is an
aerial photograph available you can
click on the "Aerial view" tab at
the top of the map. PrimeSiteUK will
then display an aerial picture of
the map you've requested which you
can navigate around in the same way
as the normal map.
With PrimeSiteUK
maps you can now plot local
information directly onto your map.
You can get information about :
Use the
checkboxes in the local information
tool below the map (at scales of
1:25,000 and below) to plot these
points directly onto your map. The
amount and type of information you
can access will update every time
you drag, pan or zoom the map. You
can access more information about a
particular point by clicking on the
icon, which will open a speech box
containing additional details.
With PrimeSiteUK
maps you can also get point-to-point
walking or driving directions in the
UK simply by clicking on the "Get
directions" tab positioned at the
top left hand corner of the map.
This will overlay part of the map
with a box where you can enter your
direction details. Simply enter a
postcode or a street name and city
then click "Get directions". You can
also add via points into your
journey by selecting the "Add via
points" link which can be found
above the "Get directions" button.
